We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Business Development Manager to spearhead our expansion into the semiconductor and electronics supply chain. You will drive the adoption of our platform for mission-critical applications, specifically targeting applications within the semiconductor industry, such as Thermal Interface Materials (TIMs), Conductive Inks, EMI Shielding and other Advanced Packaging solutions.
– Prospect and close deals within specific high-value verticals like Thermal Management (TIMs, Phase Change Materials), Interconnects (Ag/Cu Sintering, Conductive Pastes), and EMI Shielding.
– Structure Joint Development Agreements (JDAs) and licensing models which handle R&D, equipment sales and manufacturing agreements.
– Translate complex customer requirements—such as bond line thickness (BLT) reduction, thermal conductivity (W/mK) targets, or CTE mismatch—into clear targets and value propositions for our scientific and engineering team.
– Manage key accounts, moving customers from sampling to production scale-up, working with across our commercial and technical teams.
– Work with our corporate strategy team to conduct value chain analysis and market size estimation.
– Technical expertise in electronic and semiconductor materials, for example, being able to comfortably discuss the customer requirements and relate them to our performance improvements in particle morphology control.
– Advanced networking abilities within APAC and globally, with established contacts within the semiconductor ecosystem.
– The ability to structure complex deals involving IP transfer, technology licensing, and co-development.
– A highly collaborative and flexible mindset, with experience of working with start-ups as well as large companies.
– Excellent presentation abilities, able to quickly craft presentations and give them to senior management on a regular basis.
– Expertise in managing sales CRMs like Monday, Hubspot, Salesforce
– Experience in working internationally, across North America, Europe and Asia Pacific regions
– Experience dealing with Japanese materials manufacturers and distributors
– Ability to travel up to 25-40% within APAC/Global
– 5+ years in Business Development or Technical Sales within Semiconductor Materials, Electronic Chemicals, or Specialty Chemicals.

– Drive progress on key accounts by ensuring sales and technical teams are aligned
– Unlock bottlenecks in logistics by proactively organizing procurement and shipping
– Ensure our offices and labs are compliant with local rules and regulations
– Assist in writing, organizing, reviewing and improving standard operating procedures (SOPs)

We’re looking for ambitious, technically-savy students and starters who are looking to explore the nanomaterials industry and launch their careers. As an Innovation Intern, you will work directly with our cross-disciplinary team of chemical engineers, data scientists, and business strategists. This is a hands-on role where you will develop AI-powered process technologies, validate new material recipes and explore their market potential.
– Experimental R&D: Assist in operating AM’s proprietary continuous flow reactors to synthesize nanomaterials (e.g., metal oxides, quantum dots, MOFs).
– Process Optimization: Use our AI-driven software to run “self-driving” experiments, analyzing data to optimize particle size, morphology, and yield.
– Material Characterization: Perform or coordinate analysis of synthesized materials using techniques such as TEM, SEM, XRD, and TGA to validate product quality.
– Market & Application Scouting: Research emerging industrial applications for AM’s materials (e.g., in batteries, electronics, or catalysis) and compile technical feasibility reports for the business development team.
